We finished breakfast where the little guy lost another tooth! In his cereal unbelievably! Not a roll or an apple, but his chocolate-milkshake-flavoured Frosties! Our things were packed up (everything nice and clean after our mammoth washing load was completed last night!) while the kids ran around the main lodge and we loaded the car before embarking on our journey home!

We were lucky enough (in the car) to enjoy the smell of some of the extra spring onions that had picked…all the way home!

We stopped at Settler’s Park for the children to ‘earn’ their Dairy Queen treats where they ran their 1/4 mile and a 1 mile races…in the rain! Typically, it had wonderfully sunny back home while we’d been away, until we reached the outskirts of Hartland and the skies opened! They pushed on though and worked hard and were were very proud of them all!

Nate’s race ended in a huge smile!

Ell ended happier…because it was over! Well done bud!
